People Behind The Scenes
Dr Robin Precey
Educationalist, Senior lecturer at Canterbury Christ Church University and Leadership Consultant (Ethicaled), Chair of Human Scale Education, Mindful Music and St John and St Paul’s Primary School C of E Governing Body.
The project brought together 2 of his passions – education and film. Robin conceived the original idea, led the writing of the successful Lottery bid and coordinated the community contacts for Anna (the Director).
Anna Biełuszko
Anna is a Visual Artist living in London. She has Bachelor degree in Filmmaking, Design and Production as well as Arts qualifications from UK, Netherlands and Poland. She works mainly with 3 art mediums: Film, Art Photography and Painting.In this project she was a film director working first behind the camera capturing the children’s learning process about Bermondsey during the First World War. She has edited the video footage from 5 moths and all art made by children into this informative featurette bringing children from Boutcher school and history of Bermondsey a little closer together.
